Last month, we announced that the much-anticipated Wayk Now 2.0 is now available, and it features several major enhancements, including:
- Wayk Den for peer-to-peer connectivity over the Internet
- Improved certificate validation timing during TLS handshake
- Improved stability of local network name resolving protocols
- Faster loading of embedded images
- Improved robustness of remote execution on Windows, macOS and Linux

But if you thought that was the end of the Wayk Now party, then we’ve got some big news for you: WE’VE MADE WAYK NOW FREE FOR PERSONAL AND BUSINESS USE!
What’s the Catch?
You might have heard the old saying, “There’s no such thing as a free lunch” — and so, you may be wondering: what’s the catch? Well, here’s your answer: there is no catch! You’ll be able to freely use Wayk Now for as long as you want.
Why did we do this? There are two fundamental reasons, and they both involve the most important people in our universe: YOU.
Reason #1: It’s Simpler
To start with, some of you sent us feedback that our Wayk Now licensing options were a little confusing. That’s because Wayk Now was previously free for personal use (and commercial testing purposes), but it required a license for day-to-day business use. And since the last thing we want to do is make your life more confusing — we know how complex things already are in the IT world — we decided to just make Wayk Now free for everyone. It doesn’t get any simpler than that.
Reason #2: We Want to Help
The other reason we’ve made Wayk Now free for personal and business use shouldn’t surprise anyone: we want as many IT pros around the world to try it and (hopefully) fall in love with it as possible. We also know that many remote support and remote desktop tools in the market are excessively or prohibitively expensive, and we wanted to provide a legitimate, viable alternative.
Wayk Now Free + Remote Desktop Manager
There’s even more good news to share: we’ve integrated Wayk Now Free with Remote Desktop Manager! As such, once you’ve installed RDM, you’ll automatically be ready to support any user without having to install additional software on your machines. How’s that for convenience?
Introducing Wayk Now Enterprise
Just as Remote Desktop Manager has a Free and Enterprise edition, we’re also introducing Wayk Now Enterprise. This is a paid (licensed) version that gives you everything in the Free edition, as well as several enhancements, including:
- Multi-Concurrent Sessions
- Remote Execution
- Technical Support
- Wayk Den On-Premise Support (Coming Soon)
- Unattended Access (Coming Soon)
